Plastic bag ban: Here’s how many times you actually need to reuse your shopping bags
Here's an interesting article that points out that using your plastic shopping bags more than a couple of times probably more environmentally friendly.
Plastic bag fee 'to double to 10p' and include every shop
The 5p fee for plastic carrier bags in England will be doubled to 10p, and extended to all shops, under plans set out by the environment secretary.
The change is contained in a government consultation aimed at further reducing the plastic used by consumers and could come into effect in January 2020.
Smaller retailers, who are exempt from the current levy, supply an estimated 3.6 billion single-use bags annually.
Schools in England are also being told to eliminate unnecessary plastic.

Baggee News & Goings On
New Globe Baggee
We are excited to be releasing the Globe Baggee in the New Year. Though much of our success has been with the dog walking community we really wanted to get back behind the original reason that inspired the Baggee and help people remember to re-use their supermarket bags and so help the environment. Now there is the 5p tax there has never been a better time to re-use those plastic bags, especially those times you’re just nipping down for a loaf of bread or pick up a paper and always end up with another bag. Just clip it on to your keys!
Interzoo trade show
Baggee is once again on the James & Steel stand at Interzoo in Nuremberg, Germany this coming May. The show runs once every two years and this will be the 3rd visit for us. Steadily we have been creating foreign accounts in countries as diverse as Sweden, Portugal and South Africa and are hoping to expand on this at what is a truly international show.
Come and see us in Hall 7, Stand 364.
